Some people claim to be believers in Christ, who haven't come out of anything. They're living where they have always lived. They're living how they have always lived.
Well I don't think I can go on with the Lord until I resolve some things in my past. Christ didn't just die so you could be free from the not-so-bad things in your life. He cleanses you from the vilest things. Have you trusted the Lord? Well then lets be forgetting the things, which are behind, and press on to the things, which are before us. Paul was not sitting in prison reliving past regrets. No, he said, “forgetting what lies behind, I press on.”
