Defining Our Terms

The rich young ruler in Mark's gospel came to Jesus wanting to know what he lacked to inherit eternal life. Jesus perceived that he was a good young man (as the world defines good) but he had something lacking. His wealth meant more to him than giving it up to follow Jesus.
