Blessed in the Heavenlies

Paul made a lengthy doxology or word of praise beginning in verse three. He began where the Bible begins with God. He is worthy of praise because He is the original cause of spiritual blessings, He is the Father of the Lord Jesus, and because He designed blessings to be union with Christ. This rich verse uses three forms of the word -ευλογεω- to bless or blessing. Paul exhorted, praise God because He blessed us.
