How God's Word Works

God's message through Isaiah was that the pride and drunkenness of Israel was like a fading flower when they could have the beauty of the Lord. God's word works. It: i) creates a contrast; ii) causes a reaction; iii) challenges false security iv) builds strong understanding and v) always leads us to Christ as the ultimate answer.
