Our Pastor Emeritus observes that when grace comes to call the repentant man gets keen while self-righteous men continue to assume that they are successfully WORKING to earn their salvation by good works. Grace invites God to "behold" a changed life. Grace affects a man's past, present and future. Grace takes a man much farther than the requirements of the Law.
