Hope in Suffering

God promises to bless those who act righteously. However, the righteous often don't seem to see His blessing; indeed, they frequently suffer. In this passage, Peter challenges the idea that blessing and suffering are incompatible. In addition, he instructs his readers in how to respond to suffering.
