Jesus Christ is the Gospel

The gospel is the person and the work of The Lord Jesus Christ. As those who preach and call men to salvation, we are to preach the law and the gospel. The law for the knowledge and conviction of sin, and the gospel, or the person and the work of The Lord Jesus, is so that God's glory would be seen in salvation. So many today only preach the work of Christ. As precious as His work is, detached from a proper revelation of who He is, it can lead to much deception and has even led to many false conversions. So as the sinner is prepared by the preaching of the law let us then preach the person and the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
