God Gives Man Dominion

On the sixth day, God made man in His own image, and part of that image involves Man ruling over all of God's creation—earth, land, and sea—in God's place. This is called God's Dominion Mandate to man. To this end, God blessed Man and supplied him with his means of sustenance—plants and fruit for food. God also supplies all living things with their continual provision of food as a means of sustenance.
