1. Spiritual grown begins with Godly speech.
2. If we can control our talk, we can control our walk.
3. Hell on earth comes from Hell in the mouth.
4. Hell in the mouth comes from Hell in the hear.
5. Hell in the heart comes from Hell itself.
6. “No man can tame the tongue” on his own.
7. God tames the tongues of his people.

Application

1. We need to admit to ourselves that our words have not always displayed the image of God.
2. We need to admit our sin to God and ask Him to help us turn from it.
3. Ask forgiveness from those you have hurt with your words.
4. Ask some others about your speech and don’t be defensive.
5. Take God’s Word seriously. Do what He says!
