After 40-50 years of generational severance, while government social security programs enabled “independence” for retirees, things are starting to change now. The number of parents living with their adult children has risen 67% in just the last seven years. As economies fail, the social security fund empties out, and state welfare systems disappoint, Christian families will do what they've always done. They'll take care of their own elderly parents.
