Steps to Useful Service

In this half chapter we see 6 steps to Moses future service - from the Burning Bush to Battle with Pharaoh. I see these 6 steps which Moses took to become God's instrument.

I want to list them and then look at them in further detail.
They are steps that every Christian must go through to be effective for the Lord.
1. Personal Surrender
2. Parental Permission
3. Providential Protection
4. Practical Conviction
5. Providential Direction
6. Powers of Authorization
They are all familiar words to us in the Lord's service. But they cannot be passed by.
Some people would take shortcuts and leave out a few steps which are essential, but as we will learn here in this passage that doesn't work.
