-This is the first of 3 sermons on Church leadership
-We will look at the abundant biblical evidence
-This teaching has been neglected as most Churches are willfully disobedient to it

1 Elders, Whats That
-Local Churches always had more than one
-Mature men (spiritually) who presides over a Church
-Charged with the duty that things are done right
-Used interchangeably with bishop and presbyter
-A presbytery is a group of elders

2 What are their jobs and responsibilities
-To rule (by example)
-To labor in word and doctrine
-To look out for the souls over which he teaches or rules over
