Stopping Short on the Blood

If you say you believe about the Lord Jesus, I will have to ask you for more. If you say you believe the Lord Jesus is the Saviour of sinners I will have to ask you for more. If you say that The Lord Jesus is the only Saviour of sinners I will still have to ask you for more. But if you say that you believe in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus to cleanse you from sin I need ask no more. Any expression of faith that stops short of resting on the blood of Jesus Christ is a distraction to saving faith. This sermon seeks to establish this all important gospel issue.
