The Image, the Mark and the Beast GR 858

Revelation chapter 13 is a key, chapter in our study of Biblical prophecy. It focuses it's attention on events that will take place in the middle of the tribulation and then unfold during the last 3 ½ years, leading up to the return of Jesus Christ to earth to establish his kingdom. What is being set forth is the ongoing warfare between the forces of Satan and the people of God. The last 3-½ years of the tribulation present the culmination of the conflict between Satan and God. It's a warfare that has gone on down through history and that you and I are part of today. It's important that we understand the issue that is at the heart of what is taking place. The issue in this warfare is worship. Satan is attempting to usurp the place of God. So he is attempting to draw men and women to worship him.
