With the preaching of the Gospel in Samaria, many came to faith in Christ. They saw the miracles and healings that Philip performed and there was great joy in the city. Sadly, that kind of joy is absent in today's church, yet it is that joy that is a beacon to the lost. Let's remember the joy of being saved and let it shine like a beacon again.
