The Covenant Mediator

It's difficult to overstate the importance of Moses. Except for the Savior, no one else plays such a vital and extensive part in the Scriptures or in the history of redemption. This makes understanding Moses and the three covenants (Abraham, Moses, and David) that make up the old covenant all the more important. Misunderstandings here can lead to even greater misunderstandings when we come to the new covenant in Jesus Christ. Without Moses, we cannot respond to the work of Jesus Christ with the gratitude that we ought. Without Moses, we cannot know what pleases God. In the work of the servant, we are bought to the work of the Son.
