An Amazing Transformation

How can we explain the changes in Saul's behavior? It's not like he spent months learning the Christian faith before he started preaching Christ; he started defending the Christian faith IMMEDIATELY after his conversion. He already had the knowledge of the scriptures before his conversion, but what he required was a change of heart. Because the Holy Spirit regenerated his heart, he was able to look at the same passages of scripture in a completely different way. We also need to have a change of heart so that we might look at the scriptures the right way.
