Wishing for God's Judgment?

The imprecatory psalms are some of the most misunderstood Scriptures in the Bible. At first glance they appear to promote revenge and hatred. However, after a closer examination we find that they are wonderful expressions of praise and prayer. At their heart is the justice of God and the wish that one day all will be be made right again.
