Without The Atonement Money... There is no price paid. Jesus: the price Paid Forever!

Today we’re back at the all-important doctrine of the Mystery of Godliness, or the hypostatic union. This is imperative teaching in this day and age, where you have an alarmingly large number churches believing that Jesus is not God. Jesus Christ is perfect human flesh and Almighty Creator God with two distinct wills; and His humanity is always subordinate and in submission to His Deity. And it’s never the other way around. Okay... now that we’ve made a good number of people mad, we can resume the lecture.

So how did we get on this topic? Because last Sunday we were talking about the 8th Mystery, The Antichrist. It’s due to the first mention of the seed of the serpent, Antichrist, and there we find mention of the seed of the woman, Jesus Christ.

And that leads us automatically to the crucifixion and the history of the two gardens; Golgotha and Gethsemane, and the Mystery of the Two Swords.

That’s just the recap. Now, on with the lecture. It’s a discussion of Satan and the Antichrist.

Our pastor is calling this a “Special Mother’s Day Sermon”. He says you have to talk about circumcision on Mother’s Day. We’re not seeker sensitive.

Now this preacher is telling us about David counting the people without the atonement money. It’s the same as a works based and therefore a Christ-less salvation. And that brings us to our text for today, 2nd Samuel 24:1-25 and if you go to 1st Chronicles you’ll find out Satan is involved. The first thing you do here is Find Christ. He is the price paid!
