Never Give Up!

We learn early in life that persistence pays off. If at first you do not succeed, try, try again. If at first you do not get what you want, keep bugging others until they give in. But what about asking God for the things you need in life? Is it right to keep bugging God, especially since He will provide what and when He wants, and since He knows what we have need of before we ask? The answer is a resounding YES! God answers persistent prayer! We are to keep on asking, seeking, and knocking. The corresponding response is that those who ask, receive; those who seek, find; and those who knock, the door will be open. Dependent, desperate people never give up praying. The squeaky wheel eventually gets the oil. As a compassionate heavenly Father, God delights to give the very best to His children. But perseverance in prayer takes faith-- child-like faith that will not take "no" for an answer! Do you have that kind of faith?
