Jesus performed signs so that people would know He is the Christ, the Savior of the world. The healing of the Nobleman’s son was not focused on the well being of the Nobleman, nor his son. Rather it was focused on the power of Jesus over sickness and deathbecause He is God! Jesus is the One who heals our eternal condition, not our temporal conditions. We must always look to and point others to the Messiah who will save people from their sins, not to His works that only had temporal benefits.
