If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?

Quickly upon the heels of the fall, we are witness to the 1st murder ever committed by mankind. This is the 1st of countless innocent lives that would be taken by the cruel hands of fallen man.
Here there is unmistakable proof that the depraved nature has been handed down from the seed of Adam to his sons.
Yet in this senseless act of violence, we see a picture of the innocent being put to death, through no fault of his own…and the judgment of God falling down upon the guilty.
We are yet again pointed to an altar and the necessity of a bloody atonement for the sin of fallen men.
Hear the Words of the LORD, if thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?
