The Master's Example

Being a true follower of the Master, the Lord Jesus Christ, is seen in following His perfect and ongoing display of forgiveness. A true follower of the Master is seen in forgiving others, not to earn forgiveness, an impossibility, but because he has been and continues to be forgiven. Amazing forgiveness! How many need to seriously question if they are really know and are following the Master, the Lord Jesus Christ, because they display a woeful lack of a forgiving spirit by displaying a lack of love and forgiveness even towards those who have done nothing to them! This has sadly been seen and continues to be seen in professing believers who think they are justified in hating others because their government, especially in times of their unjust wars like the current never-ending war on terror, encourages and even expects it of them! The Master's perfect example is not followed because following sinful leaders has replaced following King Jesus!
