Same Jesus, Different Reception

The Garasenes couldn't get rid of Jesus quick enough, while across the lake, the people couldn't get enough of Him. Why? Jesus was the same. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. We must beware of fiddling with things that cannot be changed in order to win converts. Why is it that some do not believe in Jesus? They are not desperate enough for forgiveness to trust in Christ. We see in this passage a beautiful picture of faith alone in Christ alone in Jairus.
