What Hebrews 10:26 Does Mean

This verse in Hebrews 10 shows us a lot about God. Who talks about an angry God anymore? People more and more don't even want to talk about God, much less an angry God. The author of Hebrews does not care what is politically correct but what is Biblicaly correct. He gives the reader the true God, not half of the truth. Look at verse Hebrews 10.29 – punishment, 10.30 – retaliation. Ultimately all our crimes and sins are against God and He is a God of vengeance and a day is coming in which He will strike back at you in full retaliation and vengeance. Nahum 1.2 – the LORD is avenging and wrathful; the LORD takes vengeance on his adversaries and keeps wrath for his enemies. Verse 10.31 says – fearful, what's so fearful about the situation, the situation of falling into His hands? Many say the God of the Old Testament is different than the God of the New Testament, but the author of Hebrews writes in such a way that shows He is still the same God. If under Moses they got the punishment of death, than how many more is the punishment when one sins against Christ, who is greater than angels and greater than Moses.
