Celebrate the Wonder of Christmas

Pastor Robert Rohlin each year preaches a message on the wonder of Christmas. Sadly, many Christians today are woefully uninformed about the true sequence of events surrounding the advent of Christ. Pastor Rohlin corrects many of the misconceptions of the Nativity story – many of which are forever etched in the film and literature. Did you know that the wise men never went to the Manger? Did you know that the Bible does not say that Mary rode a donkey? Did you know that the Bible nowhere says that innkeepers denied Mary and Joseph a room? (There is instead and another meaning to the fact that there was no room for them in the inn – they knew in advance that they would not be welcome there.) Did you know that the Bible says that only one Manger is a possibility for where Christ would be born? Have you ever noticed that when the shepherds were told that Christ was in a manger, they went with haste to a specific major without a need to first search in others? Have you heard that swaddling cloths represent grave clothes – but that is not the real significance of those cloths?
