The Evidence and Expectation of God

Who, What and Why the evidence and expectation of God … (Acts 18:9-10 ; Acts 15:7-15 ; Acts 17:23-32)

Blessings and grace to you. This was taught at Briggs Chapel Wednesday evening (1.18.2023).

Message title: The Evidence and Expectation of God

Some things to note in this message:

Acts 18:9-10... a good word.

Be not afraid.

Do not be silent.

Fear not.

Be not dismayed.

Whe God brings a word - do not be afraid- it comes in the face of direct opposition.

God is with you.

Every major and significant player in the cast of God's story of redemption we see God was with them.

God never considers the odds.

God's always the majority

Paul was a leather worker/tent maker

His brothers are trustworthy

Paul knew trouble was coming.

God comforted him.

  • I'm with you.

  • I have many more who will believe

  • I have a message for them

  • I'm using you to tell them.

People often ask, what about those who do not hear.

People often question the integrity of God, saying, what about those that never hear?

Will they be saved?

Will they be saved if they never hear? Would should be asking, can I be saved if I'm not compelled and concerned about telling them about the Savior?

And, are you saved, if you don't want to go, as a way of life, to tell them?
