The Power of Christ's Kingdom

As we make our return to Mark's Gospel account, we open up chapter 9 and are confronted with verse 1. A verse which at first sight can come across as somewhat strange and mysterious. Careless interpretations of this verse can be very unsatisfactory or have even lead to some bizarre and mythological conclusions. However, on careful consideration, we are able to come to an understanding of this verse, which is not only Biblical but brings great glory to our Saviour:
