Assurance of Salvation and of Being a Child of God

Sometimes we all doubt whether we are saved(children of God). During these moments we can get assurance from the word of God, but as Paul told Timothy, sometimes we just need to stir up the spirit in us, for his Spirit witness to our spirit that we are the Sons of God.
