An Alabaster Offering

Shortly before the betrayal, death, and burial of Jesus, a woman anointed him with a precious ointment from an alabaster box. While others complained about the offering being wasteful, Jesus noted how she performed a good work and commanded that her action be spoken of for a memorial.
