Acts 3.1-11 'Expecting to receive something'

I. Here is a man of low expectation (3.1-5)

A. His condition (3.1-2ab).

B. His cry (3.3)

C. His confidence (3.4-5).

II. Here is a man the King designed to bless (3.6-7)

A. There was no cause in him but his need.

B. There is sufficient virtue in Christ for the hardest cases.

III. Here is a man with cause to praise God (3.8-11)

A. This man had cause to praise God.

B. This man did praise God.

C. This man was for a testimony to others.

Conclusion

Those who have believing involvement with Jesus Christ must 'expect great things from God'.
