The Parable of the Sower Part 1: Introduced (6 of ?)

After preaching several advent and Old/New Year type sermons, we return this Lord's Day to the Gospel of Mark. In our Sunday School hour we reviews RC Sproul's Principles of Interpretation to introduce our brief volley into the Parables.

This message is an introduction to the context and principle language of Jesus teaching, recognizing that through it Jesus is teaching us and them about the nature of the Christian Faith. God is sovereign and men are responsible. How and whether we hear and heed will reveal the purposes of God. The Principle lesson of the Parable of the Sower? Christ demonstrates the varying affect of Gospel preaching.
