What Does It Cost?

If we want to follow Jesus Christ, our economic status, age, gender, or education level does not matter; following Jesus will cost us everything. Everything belongs to Jesus already and He is the King. If we want to be a part of His Kingdom, it will cost us everything. If we want the treasure, it will cost us everything. When we find the treasure and the "real thing” it will cost us everything to get it. We must be willing to use our talents and intellect for the glory of God. In Christ, we have more reasons to give all of what we have for the Lord than those who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Some people get really upset with the truth. Jesus was not only dishonored in His own town, but He was also dishonored in His own house. The family of Jesus tainted His image through their unbelief. If we want to follow Jesus, we must do whatever He tells us. When we, do it will cost us everything.
