Thus Says the Lord

Throughout the book of Jeremiah God speaks, both to and through him. He brings warnings and pronouncements of judgments, but He also gives windows of encouragement and hope. Although those events happened so long ago, in many respects they parallel the days we are experiencing now. We are told that “in the latter days you will understand it perfectly.” (Jeremiah 23:20) It is my prayer that people become motivated to persevere through the difficult times we are facing, focusing on Jesus while we wait for that ultimate peace which will come when He comes for us.
