Challenge: Selfless Unity

Paul's focus here with the Philippians was on the general topic of selfless unity. As they drew upon their resources in Christ, Paul's joy would be made full. They would be of the same mind, same love, united in spirit and intent on one purpose, and would regard one another as more important than themselves. As the letter progresses he will specifically describe this selfless unity through mature Christlikeness, physical suffering, close personal relationships and financial generosity.
