Does Free Always Mean Free

We have learned that every time we see the word “free” in an adver-tisement, somewhere along the line, the truth of the matter comes out and we realize that it was not free. It only appears to be free. Each one of us can probably name any number of ads like this.
To all of a sudden think that God is really giving us something that is free, is extremely difficult for people to buy into, and accept. Even if they get to the point where they accept that His gift of salvation is completely free, they soon find themselves adding something to His salvation, in order to maintain it.
