Shake ‘em off

Things come our way that want to attach themselves to us. We need however to shake these vipers off of ourselves as Paul did. To let them cling to us will weak and cripple our Christian lives. One of these snakes is crisis, these love to attack us in the storm but rather than let them weigh us down get rid of them quickly before it can drown you. Critics are also something that likes to latch on tight to our minds. Telling us how much it is all our own fault that these bad things are happening. Cynicism needs to be shaken off in a hurry; why, because we don't need these bad attitudes to have any control in our lives. When we shake these things off it will be obvious to those around and then they can see help is there for them too.
