Christ's Humiliation: God became Obedient

Finishing our study of Christ's humiliation in Phil 2:6-8, we now look at Christ, who as God became man, further humbled Himself by becoming obedient, and that to the point of death on the shameful cross.

The extent of Christ's humiliation is seen by the extent of His obedience--all the way to death, and that death on the painful, shameful, accursed cross.

Christ's perfect active and passive obedience of the Law of God is both necessary for our salvation and the perfect example for our pursuing humility and unity within the local church.
