In the Life of Jesus

The Holy Spirit was the direct cause of the Virgin Birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus of Nazareth was truly God and truly human in his one Person, a Person distinct from the Father and distinct from the Holy Spirit. Yet Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit are one God.

All of the great works that the Lord Jesus did, he did, not in his divine nature, but in his human nature by relying on the power and presence of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit.
