A Biblical View of Homosexuality

482

The Bible clearly condemns the sin of homosexuality. While there are many challenges to this statement, the fact remains: God abominates what Paul describes as being "against nature". Certainly God's people must think clearly concerning this issue, and that means to think biblically.

Note that due to a recording malfuncion the recording was ended prematurely and a key application ommitted. Here is the end of the serman in TEXT:

"The Bible clearly teaches that homosexuality is a sin against God and a crime in the civil sphere. As a result, it is quite common for proud men and women, in both society and the church, to look down upon homosexuality and homosexuals in an unbiblical manner. The Bible teaches that there is a sin worse than sodomy: the rejection of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In Mt 11:20-24, the Lord Christ pronounces woes upon the cities of His day that had witnessed His mighty works, but did not repent. He states in v.24, "But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you." Don't fool yourself into thinking that because you haven't done any really big sins (e.g., homosexuality), you're o.k. in God's sight. You need forgiveness through the blood of Christ for all the sins you have committed. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved."
