A Martyrdom Mentality Absent the Martyrdom Complex

Believers who proclaim Christ live with an ever-mindful burden of their own weakness. We are clay pots: fragile, inexpensive, and expendable. However, we REJOICE in this, for it is God, not we, who deserve the attention, glory and honor. God has placed in us a great treasure, which is what an unbelieving world must see, not we ourselves, to draw them to God. Our lives on this earth we can live as glad, living martyrs, and our suffering reveals the light and life within us!
