Abraham means “exalted father,” and outside of
our Lord, he is the most important person
in the Bible.
Biblically
His name appears more than 300 times in
the Bible. He is mentioned in 11 of
the 27 books of the New Testament.
In Hebrews 11 (great faith chapter),
he is given 12 verses.
Prophetically
He is pivotal in the dispensational
outworking of God's plan. He is
the progenitor of the Jew.
Religiously
Three major religions trace their roots
to him: Christians, Jews, Muslims
Spiritually
He is the pioneer of faith.
