The Fulfillment of Sacred Space in Christ - The True Light

This is the second message addressing the fulfillment of sacred space in Jesus Christ. The previous sermon considered how this is true in Christ's person: As the God-Man, deity and humanity are conjoined in Him in the most intimate and harmonious union. Christ's person is the first and greatest proof of God's fulfillment in Him of His ancient promise to restore and reconcile the creation to Himself, but this fact is further reinforced in various titles and imagery associated with the Lord Jesus. In that regard, this message considers John's use of the theme of light. Consistent with its being the first of the biblical images associated with the presence of God, John makes it the foundational theme in his argument that Jesus is the true sanctuary - the true dwelling - of God.
