Manly Evangelism

After Paul preached the Gospel in the synagogue of Thessalonica, he patiently engaged the minds of these Thessalonian men in an effort to persuade them that Jesus was indeed the Christ. In this sermon, we consider how Jesus and the Apostles spoke to men as the intelligent bearers of God's image, and why it is degrading for evangelical churches today to manipulate people's emotions in the name of Christian evangelism.
