Writing to the Thessalonian Christians about their Election to salvation through God's grace and mercy, the Apostle Paul speaks with great conviction that the gospel came to them not just in word but in power through the Holy Spirit. Thus great change took place in their lives when they were converted, and with great assurance they became examples to all who believe.
