1 Thessalonians 5 PT 16 - Rejoice Always!

142

This is a study of Paul's first epistle, the epistle to the Church at Thessalonica. This is the first epistle that Paul ever wrote. Thessalonica was a Roman Colony city, right in the heart of the Roman empire, with a rich, long and varied history. This passage deals with the day of the Lord, when after millenniums of His great patience and compassion displayed, He will pour out His wrath on the Christ hating and unrepentant evil ones on this earth. The day of wrath will not include the body of Christ, because we are not of the night but of the day and all by His grace, Sons of light. He has not destined His bride to be, for the wrath that He will pour out on the Christ rejecting world. Because He died for us, we can be sure that He will remove His own body from the Christ rejecting earth, before He pours out His just and righteous wrath. In this study we deal with the wonderful provision that God has made for His own to continually rejoice in all that He brings our way or allows in our lives. This is done in the power of His Holy Spirit as we own the word of God and look at the things that are unseen, as revealed in His Word.
