Foundations of Christian Growth I

Thesis: The Christian is required to know their Bible for a number of reasons to rightly know God and apply the scriptures to their lives.

1. We learn the Bible by:

   • reading
   • studying
   • memorizing
   • meditating
2. Reasons for understanding Bible:
   • Not be ashamed
   • to grow
   • to not sin
   • healthy fear of God
   • guidance
