Examine, Eat, and Exalt

When Jesus met with the disciples to eat the Passover feast He initiated something totally new, the Lord's Supper. He told them at the time that one of them would betray Him (Matthew 26:21-22). They all began to ponder His words and to ask "Is it I?" Here in our text we hear Paul advising every saint at Corinth to examine themselves before they take of this blessed ceremony. Let us also do likewise.
