Come and See

This message was given by Pastor Jonathan Stobbs as he continued his morning ministry in the Gospel of John.
Pastor Stobbs speaks of these verses and shows here how we see a shift from the testimony of John the Baptist to an unreserved focus on the Lord Jesus Christ and His earthly ministry. John in his witness made it clear that he is not the Light. Christ is the only true light who can deal with the problems that people face, and their greatest problem which is their sin that separates them from God. John makes sure that his witness is full of the true Light, he exalts and magnifies Jesus Christ, pointing to Him. John has a passion and desire that those who he is witnessing to might indeed believe in Christ. We can see that God used and blessed his faithful proclamation to point others to Jesus. What an example this is to us! It also stirs the believer to have a desire to share the glorious reality of their Saviour with those who do not know Him. Pastor Stobbs speaks of the Unchanging Message, the Unstoppable Message, and the Unmissable Invitation.
