In Revelation 20 Satan is locked up in the abyss for 1000 glorious years and the saints of God rule and reign with Jesus. It is simply utopia. But after 1000 years, the evil heart of mankind is once again revealed as the Devil is released for a brief time, and this leads to the last great battle to end all battles. The devil is seized and thrown into the same lake of fire where the Beast and the False Prophet are still suffering after the 1000 years. Then comes the judgment of the dead... the final judgment.
